The Pinnacle of Rallying

The introduction of Group B regulations in 1982 saw rallying develop over the next four years further and faster than it ever had before. Group B took the sport to the absolute edge of performance, but beyond common sense, resulting in  a series of tragic accidents that led to its eventual demise.

This year marks thirty years since the fearsome Group B regulations were outlawed and The London Classic Car Show will be paying tribute to this short lived but incredibly memorable era, with a stunning display of the period's biggest hitters presented by rally legend and ‘Flying Finn’ - Ari Vatanen.

“I have such good memories of Britain,” admits the Scandinavian star. “I lived there at the start of my career and I always enjoy going back – it’s fantastic to meet such enthusiastic fans and it will be a nice opportunity to look back at some of our sport’s greatest cars.”

Don't miss Ari live on stage at the show on Thursday 18th February. Book your tickets to our Preview Evening here.
